Membership

Fremont Dog Training Club (FDTC) members share a passion for bonding with their dogs through a variety of exciting activities. From the precision of Obedience and the grace of Conformation to the energy of Agility, Herding, and the challenge of Scent Work, our club embraces it all. Whether it’s competing at local events or just having fun in training sessions, members enjoy working together and supporting each other’s progress.

Our dogs range in size from small to large, and include a mix of purebred and mixed breeds, creating a diverse and inclusive environment. At the Fremont Dog Training Club, all are welcome to join, whether you’re a seasoned competitor or simply looking to strengthen the bond with your furry friend through shared activities.

Becoming a Member

Membership is offered to individuals and families that agree to abide by the constitution and by-laws of the Fremont Dog Training Club, Inc. and by the rules of the American Kennel Club.

To apply for membership, download the Membership Application Form or Contact Us for assistance. After you have filled out the application form, submit it along with annual dues.

Attended the next general meeting where you will be introduced and existing members will officially vote you into the club. Additionally, it is required to be active member and participate in club events which include:

  • Regular club meetings
  • Assist during the FDTC AKC Sanctioned Obedience & Rally Trial
  • Ice Cream Social – well behaved dogs are welcome!
  • Holiday Social Party for members
  • Other club activities and seminars

Membership Renewal

Membership is renewed annually in January by downloading the Membership Renewal Form or Contact Us for assistance. Submit the membership renewal form and paying the annual dues. Dues for all members must be paid by the end of the current year in order to retain membership.
